Sonia Ramirez

Sonia Imelda Salazar Ramirez, of Seguin, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the age of 50. She was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on June 10, 1964 to Socorro Mendoza and Jose Ernesto Salazar Sr.

She is preceded in death by her father, husband Ricardo Ramirez, and brother Jose Ernesto Salazar Jr.

Survivors include her children, Abigail Ramirez and Romulo Camarillo Sr., Sol Ramirez and wife Marie, and Emily Ramirez grandchildren, Marisol, Sol Jr., Leonard, Ricardo, Romulo Jr., and Zaiden Ramirez mother Socorro Mendoza, siblings, Roland Salazar and wife Araceli, Cecilia Castillo and husband Luis, Alberto Salazar and wife Isabel, and Felipe Salazar goddaughter Jeanette Salazar Castillo and husband Victor, companion Antonio Gonzalez Diaz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Sonia was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to laugh and was a very happy person. Cooking and crocheting were some of her favorite pastimes. She will be missed greatly.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p. m.
