Teresa Marie Vega

A truly remarkable woman—daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and talented guitarist and singer Teresa Marie Vega passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2025, at 9:36 PM. Born on July 6th, 1960, she was a loving wife to John Vega, who survives her. For over 30 years, they built a life together rooted in love, loyalty, and devotion. No matter the challenges they faced, John never abandoned her. He stood by her side with a love that never wavered—and that is something I will always admire and remember.

Teresa was also a devoted mother to four boys and a proud grandmother to seven wonderful grandchildren. But more than that, she was the heart of our family—the soul of every room she entered. She brought light, love, and warmth wherever she went.

She wasn’t just our mom or grandma. She was also a loving sister, a devoted daughter, a cousin, and a true friend to many. She had a dreamer’s heart, and as an aspiring musician, she would often fill our home with the soft sound of her voice, turning ordinary days into something special.

What made Teresa so unforgettable was her spirit—kind, gracious, and deeply compassionate. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Whether you had known her for years or just met her, she greeted you with a smile that made you feel like family. Her laughter was contagious. Her advice, wise. Her presence, comforting. She made life better just by being in it.

She taught us how to love, how to forgive, and how to keep going, even when things got tough. She lived her life with gratitude, with strength, and with joy. And now that she’s gone, her love is still with us—in every memory, every story, every part of who we are.

Rest in peace, Mom. We will carry you with us always.

You are deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Palmer Mortuary from 5pm to 8pm. There will be no formal funeral services and visiting hours will conclude in the funeral home chapel on Friday evening. Teresa's wish of cremation will be honored by her family.
