Thomas "Tommy" Leslie McMain of Nixon, Texas, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at Resolute Health Hospital of New Braunfels.
He was born on August 11, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas to Sidney and Doris McMain.

Tommy attended Seguin High School. He was a decorated US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. This would come to be one of his greatest achievements. Tommy married Nancy Wenzel on June 28, 1969 in New Braunfels. He and Nancy lived in many towns across south-central Texas while they raised their children. Over his life time, he had several occupations, but retired from Acme Brick as a truck driver. After retirement, Tommy enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family. He considered his family the proudest part of his life.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Sidney McMain, step-father, Raymond Spahn, mother, Doris Spahn, and brothers, Sidney McMain Jr. and Charlie McMain.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Nancy McMain, son, Todd McMain, daughters, Leslie McMain Micus and Tara McMainHinkley; grandchildren, Kelly Hugman Kinsinger. Casey Hugman, Hunter McMain, Kendall Almaguer, Jack Micus, Taylor Egger, Kaitlyn Egger, Brady Egger, Rylee Egger, Ciarra Fladung, and Allexis Hinkley, great-grandchildren, Kaylynn Fladung and Roland Kinsinger, andcountless nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in Tommy's honor on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Lazy U Ranch (450 Naumann Rd, Seguin, TX 78155).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the SS American Memorial Project (450 Naumann Rd, Seguin, TX 78155 (210) 559-1377).
