Tony Rivera

Tony Rivera, 43, gained his angel wings on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born in Alice, Texas on August 25, 1975 to Juan G. Rivera and Herminia L. Rivera.
He is preceded in death by his father; sister Diana L. Rivera; paternal grandparents, Cosme Rivera, Sr., and Maria Gutierrez Rivera; and maternal grandparents, Simon Lopez and Carlota L. Salazar.

He is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Adriah G. Rivera; mother, Herminia L. Rivera; brothers, David Rivera (Patricia), and Danny Rivera; nephews, John David Rivera (Valerie), and Martin Rivera; niece, Alysia F. Rivera (Jacob Miranda); great niece, Jaelynn Rivera; great nephews, Kayden Miranda and John David Rivera Jr.; half-sister, Christina A. Rivera; nephew, Trevon Wunderlin and niece, Miranda Wunderlin; special friend, Cynthia Martinez; along with numerous family and friends.
Tony loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and WWE wrestling fan. He enjoyed listening to music with his daughter, bar-b-queing with family, dancing, sitting outside bird watching for red cardinals (sign of family member) and watching the movie Tombstone. Tony will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel at 8:00 p.m. The family requests you wear your favorite Cowboy's jerseys.
