Victor Batton

Victor Lee Batton, of San Antonio, passed away in Seguin, Texas on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the age of 78. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina on July 2, 1938 to Eva (Gaines) and Roy Batton.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Bonnie Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Carol (Walker) Batton, three children, Victor Neal Batton, Jeffrey Batton and Melissa Miller; as well as 5 grandchildren.

Victor proudly retired from the US Coast Guard in 1982 after serving as an Aircraft Electrician for 22 years. After his retirement, he worked for the Hallmark Institute of Technology as an instructor. He collected sports memorabilia, small antiques and enjoyed having a shop at Bussy's Flea Market for about 20 years.

A Memorial Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel, on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
