Victoria Avalos

Victoria Contreras Avalos, of Seguin passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born to Manuel Contreras and Louisa Guzman in Seguin, TX on December 23, 1929.

She is preceded in death by her husband Andres Avalos and sisters, San Juana Tristan and Estefana Longoria.

Victoria is survived by her son Edward Avalos and wife Janie, daughters, Patricia Rodriguez and husband Edward, Pamela Garza and husband Javier and Elizabeth Terrell grandchildren, Savannah Rodriguez, John Huerta, Seth Rodriguez, Justin Avalos and Marissa, Sarah Rodriguez, Jessica Avalos, Danielle Terrell, Adrian Garza, Michael Avalos and Laura Garza greatgrandchildren, Emilie Avalos and Julianna Avalos as well as sisters, Enriqueta Reyes and Espire Tristan and husband Elijio
.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 5:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p. m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10:00 a. m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
