Belinda (Morales) Soto was welcomed home to be with the Lord on January 24th, 2023 at the age of 67. She was born on May 19, 1955 to Paula (Ortiz) Morales and Candelario Morales in Seguin, Texas.
Belinda was a devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandma, and friend. She enjoyed family time, lottery, listening to the radio, thrift shopping with her siblings, and most importantly being able to witness her grandchildren’s achievements. Belinda always put the needs of others first before her own. She was humble, a hard worker, and never gave up no matter how hard life got. Towards the end of her life she became a warrior against her illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Candelario and Paula Morales; brother Elias; her husband of 46 years Daniel Soto, Sr. and her son-in-law, Javier Gonzales Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Denise Soto, Daniel Soto, Jr., Brian Soto (Rita), Ryan Soto (Alisha), Mark Soto, Sr. and Melinda Hernandez (Carlos); grandchildren, Desirae, Nicole, Javier Jr., Analise, Kristopher, Nathaniel, Cristian, Kaleb, April, Bobby, Jayden, Brian ., Synida, Kaydence, Riverlyn, Mark Jr., Kaitlyn, Nayeli, Benny, Amelia, Navae, Jo’Angel, Geo’Vonie, Ke’Anna; great-grandchildren, Presley, Tristan, Jocelyn, Sebastian, Aliana, Paulina and Lilyana, & soon to be born Elijah; her brothers and sisters, Efrain Morales (Rosa), Victoria Leos, Oralia Culbertson, Ofilia Soto, Pablo Morales, Naomi Gutierrez (Mike), Candelario Morales Jr. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be at Palmer Mortuary on January 30, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a service to begin at 6:00 p.m. All services will conclude in the Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Monday evening and Belinda’s wishes of cremation will be fulfilled.
