Benina Herrera

Benina Magallanes Herrera, 85, of Seguin, was called to her eternal resting place on July 12, 2020. She entered this world on August 15, 1934, born to Thomas M. Magallanes and Paula (Sepeda) Magallanes.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gregorio Herrera Sr; daughters, Linda Herrera and Ester S. Hernandez.

She is survived by her children, Gloria Longoria and husband Leroy, Fidencio Magallanes and wife Kathy, Gregory M. Herrera and wife Imelda, Valentin Herrera and wife Angela; sister, Mary Moreno and husband Manuel; brother Paul Magallanes and wife Celia; 21 grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. Especially by her grandchildren, who will be forever grateful for the special memories created with her.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Herrera Jr., Noel Hernandez, Phillip Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Adam Trevino, and Csarao Guadarrama IV.

The recitation of the rosary and the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 20, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:30am in Seguin. Interment will follow at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
