Daniel Soto Sr.

Daniel Soto Sr., age 63 was welcomed by Jesus Christ on April 19, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.

Daniel was born on March 19, 1958 to Anastacio and Angelita (Magaña) Soto in Seguin, Texas.

Daniel was a kind and giving person. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, pecan-picking, bbqing, fishing and loved jamming out to his favorite spanish Cd’s. He was an everyday listener to the kwed trading post. Daniel could light up the room with his smile and could become friends with anyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio and Angelita Soto; sister, Rosalinda Gaytan brother, Anastacio Soto Jr. and Son-in-Law Javier Gonzales.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years of marriage, Belinda Soto; 6 children, Denise Soto, Daniel Soto Jr., Brian Soto and wife Rita, Ryan Soto and wife Alisha, Mark Soto, Melinda Hernandez, and husband Carlos; grandchildren, Desirae, Javier Jr., Nicole, Analise, Kristopher, Nathaniel, Cristian, Kaleb, April, Bobby, Jayden, Scott., Synida, Kaydence, Riverlyn, Mark Jr., Kaitlyn, Nayeli, Benny, Amelia, Jo’Angel, Navae, Geo’Vonie and Ke’Anna; great-grandchildren, Presley, Tristan, Paulina and 2 soon to be born great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Janie Aldaña, Mike Soto and wife Sandy, Roland Soto and Mary Bencomo. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all and be remembered as a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grand Father.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Prayer Service will be at 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary. Services will conclude Thursday evening in the funeral home chapel and Daniel’s wishes of cremation will be fulfilled.

All guests attending services at the funeral home are required to wear a face covering upon entering building and while in the chapel.
