Pedro “Pete” Rodriguez Jr. of Seguin, Texas was welcomed into his Heavenly Home on April 8, 2022, at the age of 59. He was born on June 6, 1962, in Seguin to Susie (Lara) Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez Sr.
Pete enjoyed family time, especially spending time with his daughter Jessica and his granddaughter, and great-grandson. He enjoyed playing cards, playing slot machines, and trying his luck in lottery tickets. He also enjoyed sitting outside enjoying life listening to his favorite tunes. Pedro's earthly presence will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved him, but we are confident that one day we too will be reunited with him once again for eternity.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” -Psalm 23
He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Rodriguez Sr.; sister, Mary Ellen Hernandez; paternal grandparents, Ramon Rodriguez and Emilia Leal-Rodriguez and his maternal grandparents, Aneclato Lara and Michila Lasano-Lara.
