We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations
Ray Tovar Sr. was called Home to the Lord on July 6, 2022, at the age of 62. He was born on August 31, 1959, to Modesta (Scheffel) and Juan Tovar Sr. in McQueeney, Texas.
Ray was a wonderful Son, Brother, Dad, Uncle and Grandpa. Ray was loved so much by his children and family. Ray was the favorite uncle, the cool and Loco Tio. Dad was a simple and humble man, he never asked for nothing, he always worked for what he had. Dad lived in Mcqueeney all of his life, everyone knew Ray well as he referenced himself as "El Rey de Mcqueeney". You would hear whistling and gritos and you knew he was close by. He was always talking about something that man had no filter. In his final months he had been his mom's primary caretaker and he never once complained as he loved her so much. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
