TSgt. Sam Milton Day, USAF (Retired) passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the age of 68. He was born on April 17, 1953, to Sam Maxwell Day and Dorris Jo (Whitickar) Day in Port Lavaca, Texas.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Sam Maxwell and Dorris Jo Day.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Karen Lynn (Light) Day; his two children, Sam Maxwell Day II and Jennifer Amanda Day and his grandchildren, Tyler Remington Day, Tabitha Day-Connolly, and Jonathan Day-Connolly.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. Concluding services there will be a funeral procession departing the funeral home and interment with Air Force Military Honors will be at San Geronimo Cemetery. Officiating services will be Reverend Bill Shockley.
